Private by design. We never collect your input content, it is not used to train AI models, and information is stored only on your local device or your iCloud via CloudKit. Calendar export is on-device and OCR runs on-device for images and PDFs.

Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

  • Early access contact: If you request an iOS TestFlight invite, we collect your email solely to send the invite.
  • App usage analytics: Privacy‑preserving, cookie‑free, aggregated analytics (e.g., page traffic). No personal profiles or cross‑site tracking.
  • Crash diagnostics: Minimal diagnostic information to maintain reliability. No input content is collected.
  • Input content: We do not collect or store the content you input (e.g., documents, images, PDFs, links, text). It remains on your device or your iCloud via CloudKit.

How We Use Information

  • Process content locally to extract text via on‑device OCR for images and PDFs.
  • If you opt in to cloud AI inference, selected text may be sent securely to the OpenAI API to generate summaries and actionable todos. We do not store this content, and it is not used to train models per OpenAI’s API Data Usage.
  • Generate tasks and export events to your calendar on‑device with duplicate protection.
  • Send early access communications if you opt in.
  • Maintain and improve reliability using aggregated analytics and minimal diagnostics.

On‑Device and iCloud Storage

This app prioritizes local and iCloud storage:

  • Calendar export: Events are created on your device in your Apple Calendar with duplicate protection. No server‑side calendar push.
  • iCloud sync: Tasks and preferences may sync with your iCloud via CloudKit to keep your devices in sync. You control iCloud in system settings.
  • On‑device OCR: Images and PDFs are processed locally on your device for text extraction.
  • Cloud AI inference (optional): If enabled, selected text may be transmitted securely to the OpenAI API to provide results. This content is not used to train models; see OpenAI’s API privacy.

Sharing and Disclosure

  • We do not sell personal data.
  • We do not share your input content with third parties, except ephemeral transmission to OpenAI solely to provide AI results when you opt in. That content is not used to train models.
  • We may share limited data with service providers (e.g., email delivery, crash reporting) under strict contractual controls.
  • We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or integrity of users and the service.

Data Security

We use industry‑standard security measures including encryption in transit, secure storage, access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is 100% secure; we work continuously to protect your data.

Third‑Party Services

  • OpenAI API: Certain AI features are powered by OpenAI. According to OpenAI’s API Data Usage policy, API inputs are not used to train their models.
  • Vercel Web Analytics: Cookie‑free, privacy‑preserving analytics used to understand aggregate page traffic. No personal profiles or cross‑site tracking. See Vercel Analytics.

Your Choices and Rights

  • Access, correct, or delete content within the app.
  • Disable iCloud sync in system settings if preferred.
  • Unsubscribe from early access emails at any time.
  • Contact us for data requests using the email below.

Children’s Privacy

This app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us to remove it.

Data Retention

We retain data only as long as needed to provide the service or as required by law. You can delete content at any time from your device.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect improvements or legal requirements. We will update the “Last updated” date and, when appropriate, notify you in‑app or by email.
